Being back home means facing the deli ma of getting used to people very dear to you all over again only to come to the terms that it is for temporary. Its turmoil for the heart and its overflow of emotions. It in a way is a pleasure you must endure through, you love being home but its not for permanence, so you have to see the sucky part and the best part at the same time. Its aweful.
I've had amazing times being back home though. Papa Moushon BBQ, making the best sand castle ever and flying kites, painting with light, exploring antique shops, eating my moms spaghetti sauce (anything she makes for that matter), seeing my lady everyday, being super productive with GV, and remembering old times because of familiar surroundings. I love being home, especially now that i live out of a 12 seater passenger van and a backpack and a big bag of personal items. I love living this simply, this light. I treasure new things now. I've learned on this road for the past 3 months that to God everyone has value, everyone is worth His sacrifice, we are all beautifully His creation and this thought causes me to rise above my stereotypes and judgments of people because this fact lets me glimpse into practicing and living compassion. There's more that i'm learning, i shall type again for part deux.

Video Shoot!
2 Weeks ago we filmed a music video for our song 'Safe From All Alarms', i'm a bit partial to the song because it is my favorite on our new record. Our good friends from high school back in the day asked to do it for us and seeing that they are 1 Good people 2 Have amazing stuff it was easy to take them up on it. We were in the studio from 10am till 6pm, i had a guitar around my neck for most of those hours, but also got to do some solo singing style as well. My greatest fear is making something cheezy in the music video world yikes! I was bit apprehensive to do anything with such short notice but we met and talked our ideas out. My idea was to use a lot of lighting like i had seen in a Shout Out Louds video, if you type that band name into YouTube and watch the "Please, please, please" song you'll have an idea of what i was building our music video around! I love working with people that totally understand you, they hear you and your vision and create it out of their means and it ends up looking and sounding like what you saw in your head! I love connecting with folks that get you. So i took my Mac and eye port thing and snapped some shots, Ben Blood is in some! woot woot! Tric is working with one of the boys John Hood on the editing tomorrow, so i'm sure mucho good will come from it. Here is ruff look at what went down!

Firsts as of this week
Aaron introduced me to deep fried pickles the other day, AMAZING! Later i got ollied over by skater after our show in Indianapolis! I laid on my back and watched the skateboard come closer and closer and inches from my body fly over me, AMAZING! Several weeks ago i went sailing for the first time too! It was on my list to do before i turn 30, so i'm super jazzed, it was everything and more than what i expected it to be like. (other things before i turn 30 is: see the Strokes and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club live, go on a canoing backpacking trip, go back to France to see my family, more may be added later) there was one more thing but i can't remember right now, so i'll edit this late and add.

Not often enough
I don't read enough, but i'm working on it. I don't write enough so i'm starting to blog. I don't pray enough, but i remind myself too (and usually in the shower? weird). I don't floss enough, but my new electric toothbrush makes me feel like i've been to the dentist after each use and my hygienist told me last Monday that my gums are looking great. I don't design enough though i want to release pen & paper one day hopefully this year. I don't use my money wisely enough and i'm desperate for a remedy. I don't have enough shoes. :D I'll never have enough shoes. :D
