Q Cafe Benefit
The Q Cafe is having a benefit show to raise funds for revamping the current sound system. GV and other Seatown acts I enjoy will be joining the cause. So proud of the expanding/fulfilling vision of the Q. Stoked as always to be involved.
Afraid of Everyone
I instantly liked the National when I first heard them. Their song "Fake Empire" swept me quick, and their latest record "High Violet" is doing the same. Their performance on Letterman is very tasty, great wind instruments, joint singing (Sufjan joins the ensemble), as well as a decent mix on live TV, a rare occurrence. Enjoy

SUMMER '10 Fragrance
This is my official cologne choice for this Summer. It's a grown up Lacoste meets Acqua Di Gio. It's light & fresh with woodsy undertones. I think its great for: sunny afternoons outside, semi formal occasions, and even for elegant dinner outdoors. Versatile with good recognizable character. Read the following for what's been said about my Summer choice:
"Introducing Dolce & Gabbana's newest fragrance for men, Light Blue Pour Homme. Drawing upon their native home of Italy, this innovative design team have captured the sensuality of the Mediterranean. A refreshing blend of citrus notes combines perfectly with masculine woods and subtle spice to create a distinctive fragrance that epitomizes relaxed sophistication.Notes:Sicilian Mandarin, Frozen Grapefruit Peel, Bergamot, Juniper, Rosemary, Szechuan Pepper, Rosewood, Musk Wood, Incense, Oak Moss.Style:Mysterious. Confident. Sensual."

NO THEFT X WA MILE
Chris asked me to do 2 posters for their upcoming shows at Blue Moon & Chop Suey. I like going back & forth working on projects that I have full play room on and ones that I have guidelines on. Chirs sent me some examples of vintage poster/book cover posters made for WA MILE in the past that he really dug. I did one to follow that theme and then an original type piece for their name for the Chop Suey show. I did the one for Chop Suey to imitate the Noah Gundersen poster when he played there. I cropped it down to give some margin tension and add a new dimension to the 11x17 clutter that is out on the poles. I really dig the 8.5x17 dimension and am looking at new ways to present shows on print.
I'm excited to see WA MILE for the first time! I actually get to go to a show that I did a poster for! Check these Seatown Washington Mile boys out HERE

NO THEFT X i art u
My dear creative friend Jenn Thompson has an incredible blog that features her many creative interests and contributions to this world and she has the heart to match this as well. A tour ago we struck a deal while staying at her house. She would help me make a terrarium in return for a banner for her blog. (I got the better deal for sure).
Do yourself a favor, get a hot beverage, some snacks and then get lost on her blog for awhile. You'll be inspired. PROMISE.
